Robison up-specs for 2007

Victoria's Robison Motor Sport are preparing for the 2007 rally season by building a new Version 5 STI Impreza to replace their ageing Legacy.

Brother and sister Jesse and Samantha Robison will again pilot the Subaru. 

Rai Curry from Fabraications, along with Racetech Steel, have come on board this week as team sponsors, starting on a state-of-the-art, chrome moly tube roll cage.

The team hopes the car will be back at their workshop by Christmas, giving them enough time to build and prepare the car for the 2007 season.

Fabraications and Racetech Steel’s assistance, along with existing sponsors, Autobarn Narre Warren, Modena Racing Gears, and Pyro-tection, has been appreciated by the team this year, although they admit that the extent of next year's program will depend on further sponsor dollars.

At this stage the team plan to contest the full Racetech Steel Victorian Rally Championship and a couple of selected rounds of the NEC Australian Rally Championship.

In 2006 the team finished second in the Victorian Championship, while Sam won the P6 navigator's title in the ARC.
