Targa Great Barrier Reef has announced a great initiative which will be used in September's event.
Organisers of the rally have included a drive-by route through Cairns so people can see the cars from their front yards.
The rally's competitors will tour 27 kilometres through the suburbs of Cairns giving a chance for locals to witness the impressive cars.It is just one of a host of changes which will be forced upon organisers due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Targa Great Barrier Reef is set to run on September 4-6.
