What a nail-biting end to the Dayinsure Wales Rally GB last weekend!Â
Rally fans were glued to their phones and computers a couple of stages from the finish, not knowing who would take out the famous rally, with only 0.2 seconds between Jari-Matti Latvala in his Toyota Gazoo Racing Yaris WRC rally car and Sebastien Ogier, four-times winner of the rally in his M–Sport Ecoboost WRC Ford Fiesta.
Who would have thought that over three days of fog, rain and mud that the margin to win could be less than the thickness of the paint of their bumper bars?
The WRC turns its attention now to Rally Spain in two weeks, and with Ogier’s win firmly replanting his grip on the 2018 WRC crown, it’s anyone’s guess to the result on this traditional mixed surface test, with two days of  asphalt and a day of gravel.
What does this mean for rally fans in Australia? The final showdown for the WRC crown will be at Kennards Hire Rally Australia in November, and we want you to be there!
