Kennards Hire Rally Australia organisers are expecting at least three-car teams for all four manufacturers in the final round of the World Rally Championship. Hyundai, Toyota and M-Sport should all field three 2017 specification World Rally Cars, while there’s a strong chance Citroen could enter a fourth car for UAE driver Khalid Al Qassimi. But the event could be a little light on for WRC2 entries, after Sweden’s Pontus Tidemand claimed the title at the last round in Germany. The likely World Rally Cars to be entered for Rally Australia are: Hyundai: Thierry Neuville, Hayden Paddon, Dani Soro Toyota: Jari-Matti Latvala, Juho Hanninen, Esapekka Lappi M-Sport: Sebastien Ogier, Ott Tanak, Elfyn Evans Citroen: Kris Meeke, Craig Breen, Stephane Lefebvre, Khalid Al Qassimi After 10 of this year’s 13 WRC rounds, Sebastien Ogier leads the title race by 17 points from Thierry Neuville, with Ott Tanak third and still an outside chance at claiming the title. Rally Australia runs from November 17-19.
