The Northern Districts Sporting Car Club continues its resurgence of rallying with the running of the Yarraman Rally on Saturday, October 13. The rally will be an all-daylight affair run over 110 kilometres of competitive distance in the Yarraman State Forest, just north of Toowoomba. The event will comprise of ten stages.
Entries are now open and the club is aiming this and future events at club-level competitors, hence the very reasonable entry fee of just $185.
The Yarraman district, like many other country areas, has been significantly affected by the continuing drought, and the Northern Districts Sporting Car Club are keen to assist local residents. Residents will be selling food and drinks at the rally headquarters at the Yarraman Showgrounds on the New England Highway, and the club encourages competitors, service crews and spectators to stop and purchase their requirements there.
