Hyundai Motorsport has officially confirmed their latest find-a-driver scheme, branching forward from their existing Chewon Lim development project and Hayden Paddon’s national New Zealand based programme.   In this latest scheme 16 drivers have already been invited to the Hyundai Motorsport headquarters at Alzenau, from which eight will be invited on to the second stage of the process. In the end only one winner will represent Hyundai Motorsport, participating on selected WRC2 events in an i20 NG R5 car as part of “a comprehensive itinerary planned for 2018”. This project will be run by an outside team which HMSG will nominate and is an extension to the current Hyundai Motorsport Driver development Program that Chewon Lim is a part of this season. - Martin Holmes
