They’ve made it through the tough Canberra roads and the ball-bearing West Australian gravel, but the challenge of Queensland just might top them both for Australian Rally Championship competitors this weekend.
Joining the RallySport Magazine team for this week’s preview is former Subaru factory driver and ARC TV man, Dean Herridge, who gives his unique insight into the state of play in the championship.
Herridge joins Luke and Peter Whitten to discuss the event that’s growing in stature after its return to the series in 2021.
The tricky and often rough roads around Gympie will be the challenge, and that’s all after a huge ‘Wheels on Mary’ street party on Friday night in front of thousands.
Also briefly discussed are the Nissan Nightmoves and Southern Lights events, and Paraguay’s introduction into the World Rally Championship.
