Subaru Australia expresses its great sadness at the passing of Peter Brock and offers its condolences to Peter's family and friends.
Subaru Australia Managing Director Nick Senior said: "He was an Australian legend, a genuine person and an inspiration and hero to generations of Australians. His contribution to Australian motorsport is unmatched. His passing is a great loss.
"Our thoughts and best wishes are also with co-driver Mick Hone."
As a mark of respect, the Subaru Motorsport team has withdrawn from Targa West.
