ARCom appoint two of the four directors to the Rallycorp Board, who are currently Garry Connelly and Steve Ashton, However, both these directors have indicated their desire to step down from their appointments during 2007.
As a result, Connelly has already been replaced on the board by former ARC competitor, and now team manager, Michael Thompson. Thompson’s appointment is effective as from February 14, 2007.
New ARCom chairman, Ed Ordynski, was quoted in the minutes as saying that the ARCom-appointed Rallycorp directors need not be ARCom members, and added that it was his preference not to be appointed to Rallycorp. The ARCom chairman, or a nominee, however, may attend Rallycorp meetings upon invitation.
