After Hayden Paddon showed the potential of their Hyundai i20 R5 last year, Marcus and Scott Walkem will return to the ARC stages again in 2020. The Tasmanian brothers debuted the car at Rally Tasmania last year, before Paddon took the wheel at the Eureka Rally in Victoria. Work commitments meant that the car wasn't seen again at ARC level. Things are looking a little more promising this year, however, with the car set to be part of a bumper field in March's National Capital Rally in Canberra. "As yet we don’t have any firm plans for the whole year," Marcus Walkem told RallySport Magazine.
"But we will be in Canberra and Tasmania for sure. We're unsure if we'll get to round two in Western Australia at this stage."

The i20 R5 has had a full refresh since last season, with the latest updates added to the car, which is guaranteed to make it a competitive package. The team will undergo some pre-season testing in Tasmania later in January. Backing will continue to come from Launceston Travel and Cruise Centre, Lobster Shack, and Launceston Hyundai.
